Hires outside of the NRMP need to be requested with SCUF.
Ensuring quality, transparent fellowships
SCUF works with the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) to provide a fair, equitable national match for fellowships in Advanced Emergency Medicine Ultrasonography. The rules for the match are set by NRMP, and as a sub-specialty, we are expected to abide by those rules.
It is required that all fellowship positions are included in the NRMP match unless approval is granted by SCUF.
Tip: Update your program listing through the program system to indicate if your fellowship has a position open after the match season. Find instructions in the program system user guide.

Situations for requests outside of the NRMP Match
- Programs that cannot participate in the Match
- Programs that participated in the Match but the position(s) went unfilled
- Programs that participated in the Match but withdrew
